Your RNFA Program will consist of three components as
follows:
1. RNFA Program 2.0 home
studies:
After enrollment*, start your 98 hours of online Home studies that
include five custom online, surgical workbooks, 8 independent
surgical study assignments and our exclusive Suture &
Tying Practice Lab and DVD presentation that covers over
23 wound closure techniques (to sample the quality of
the home study DVD presentation visit our FREE RNFA
Lesson on this site).
2. SutureStarXpress
Workshop
Students from RNFA Program 2.0, get ready to roll
up your sleeves and learn many of the techniques used by the
nation's top RNFAs through in our 3 day, dynamic, hands-on
training workshop. We've taken the best of our hands-on labs
from our 6 day Workshops and consolidated them
into this effective, three day weekend. With your home
study labs, altogether, you will receive over
34 hours
of simulated surgical skills training before
entering your clinical preceptorship.

3. Clinical RNFA
Internship
120 hour clinical preceptorship can
be logged in one specialty or multi-specialties. With
over 34 hours of simulated surgeries, SutureStarXpress students enter the clinical
preceptorship phase of their program properly prepared.
They have practiced their advanced, multi-specialty
techniques and cross-over skills so many times on NIFA
labs that they master and they become 'second nature.'
(Lap Chole classes held only in Denver. However,
students attending other locations may attend a future Denver Lap Chole class FREE)
(This day features Open, Bridging and EVH classes held
only in Denver. Beginning in April we will be adding a C
Section and Plastics optional classes in Denver).

*All Nurse Practitioners with limited
OR experience have the option to purchase a 12 month
subscription to the
AORN Video Library series
(38 videos, a $7,800 value if purchased individually -
for only $199 with enrollment).

A note on the Denver Xpress
Workshops:
No matter what location, students attending any three day, weekend (Fri-Sun)
Workshops will save tremendously on travel costs and less
time off work.
However, we
are especially proud of the Workshops held at the
Marriott Springhill Suite Denver International Airport.
The day before your Workshop, you would deplane at DIA and head
directly to classes and your lodging within minutes. There is no need to rent a car
since the hotel shuttle picks up NIFA students every 15
minutes. And, you'll save
money everyday with free hot breakfast every morning.
After the classes, you can catch a plane back home
Sunday night and get ready to start your clinicals
